Music has always been a huge part of my life. It has helped me express and release emotions. I can’t go a day without listening to it and I don’t know how I would function without it. 😀
Although I grew up singing and with a lot of musically gifted people, in my family, I took a different career path, in my earlier adulthood days. With all that is going on in the world, recently, and seeing so many people explore their creative sides on social media platforms, I decided to create something involving what I love most: music. Even though blogging is not the end goal, I wanted to start with a blog as it shows my love for writing, as well. So, I created a music blog in the year 2024 but I’m having to restart due to unforeseen circumstances ( it was foreseen LOL) 😉 . This time around, I want it to be less formal and more personal.
Since I was always posting about music on my socials to share my favs or express myself, I figured I should start a blog to do just that because I have a lot to say and those few characters given on social sites is just not enough.
So, please, don’t expect perfect grammar or professional criticism. Expect me to use my love of music to express myself and give my honest opinions and truth. I don’t want this to be a site of me just critiquing the latest songs and albums. That can be very overwhelming. Like, I didn’t realize how many songs and albums are released on a weekly basis!! BUT… this blog is more so about my experiences going to concerts, festivals, and other events or even just how I feel or what I’m thinking about, after listening to a work of art..
